Patricia Olivia II is a sleek and ultra-high speed vessel that was built by Derecktor Shipyards of the United States.  On sea trials Patricia Olivia II achieved 52 knots at full displacement, making it the fastest passenger-only catamaran in the world.

As built, Patricia Olivia II could sustain loaded service speeds in excess of 50 knots.  With two turbines shut down, Patricia Olivia II could achieve up to 40 knots.

 

To optimise seakeeping and onboard comfort, a full Maritime Dynamics ride control system was fitted which features an active T-Foil and Trim Tab on each hull.
